Satellite Direct was a real favourite for
us. Overall, it had everything that we
wanted. But we had one big problem with
Satellite Direct, and that was its huge
price tag. At almost $150 dollars, we were
hesitant to even consider buying it for our
testing! But we bought it, and overall we
were really impressed. It had all the
features we were looking for, but the
affordable price. We have been in touch
with the support staff at Satellite Direct,
and they tell us they will be offering
special pricing 1 random week in every
month, where they will sell it at a
competetive 70% reduced price of
$49.95. We have yet to see them actually
reduce their price! Check for us, have they
reduced their price? The high price aside,
Satellite Direct was very close to Stream
Direct for the first place! Even though
Satellite Direct has much more American
programming, we just couldn't give it the
gold medal at such a high price. If you can
afford it, we still recommend it! If the
prices of Satellite Direct and Stream
Direct were the same, we would recommend
Satellite Direct over Stream Direct for the
"American" viewers. Head on over to
